CONTEXT
St Radbod came from a prominent Frankish family, he was educated at the cathedral school in Cologne and at the court of Charles the Bald (840-877). Because of the invasions of the Vikings, he resided in Deventer instead of Utrecht. He is supposedly the author of several works.
