Location:Warmond(?) - Date:after c.1413. The last chapter describes the acquisition of St Basilia's relics by monastery of Kamp. The author refered to the visions of Elizabeth of Schonau, where the saint's name is mentioned. In addition is mentioned the gift of St Basilia's relics in 1401 to Jan of Warmond, who kept them in the cistercian monastery Mariënhaven which he founded in Warmond. In the Parisian manuscript the Life is followed by four panegyrics, three of them by Frederik of Heilo (NL0341). - Commission: /

Jan van der Woude of Warmond was a favourite of Count Albrecht of Beieren. He was also the founder of the St Ursulaconvent in Warmond.
ABSTRACT
St Basilia was a Sicilian princess who died a martyr's death together with her mother Gerasina and her sisters Juliana, Aurea and Victoria, and her brother Adrian in the company of St Ursula.
