ABSTRACT
Life of St. Apollinaris Ravennas (+2 th century). Appolinaris from Ravenna in Antioch, was a disciple of the apostle Peter and became bishop of the town. During the persecutions of Emperor Vespasian Appolinaris and his followers were expelled from Ravenna. Nevertheless, he was martyred and killed before he could leave the city.
