ABSTRACT
Life of St. Simon and St. Jude (+ 1e eeuw). Both were relatives of Jesus and joined the group of apostles at the request of the Lord Himself. According to legend, they separated to preach the gospel. Apostle Simon went to Egypt and Persia while Judas evangelized parts of Arabia, Mesopotamia, Syria and Armenia. Together they suffered martyrdom in Persia about the year 70.
