ABSTRACT
Life of Saint Thomas, the apostle (+1th century), also called Didymus (twin) or Doubting Thomas. According to legend Thomas was blamed of ‘disbelief’ because of the fact that he didn’t want to believe Jesus’ resurrection. Only when he saw the figure of Christ and his wounds with his own eyes, he was convinced. Eventually he died a martyr during his missionary work in India.
