CONTEXT

Guibert of Gembloux held two abbacies (at Florennes, 1188/89-1194; at Gembloux, 1194-1204), both of which were criticized severely as he did not succeed in reforming the communities under his charge. For more information, see also Guibert's epistularium (NaSo 524).
