CONTEXT

ABSTRACT

History of the translation of St Lewinna's relics (+680/90), stolen in Seaford (Sussex) on June 16th 1058, and transferred to the convent of Bergues-St-Winoc in 1058. Includes an account of the miracles accompanying the propaganda tour organised by the monks.
