ABSTRACT
History of the abbey Minster-in-Thanet since the decease of St Mildreda, second abbess of the abbey (c. 691-700), including the translation of her relics by Aelfstan to St Augustine's abbey in Canterbury in 1030 (Colker, Sharpe)/ 1035 (Barlow, BHL, Hardy, Rollason), and her miracles. BHL 5964 is partly taken from an abridged version of BHL 5961, found in two manuscripts by the editors of AASS.
