Sex: M- Bio: Claes Heynenzoon (ca. 1345-1414) is apparent in the sources as herald Beyeren from 1403 until 1414. Due to his extensive production, herald Beyeren can be considered as the most important historiographer at the court of Holland during the reign of Willem VI (1404-1417). During his stay at the court of Holland he wrote, among other things, the dyptich Wereldkroniek-Hollantsche cronike. He also made the so-called Haagse handschrift, the so-called waste-book and the herald armorial of Bavaria. Before his term of office at the court of Holland, Claes Heynenzoon served at the court of Guelders. In that period he made, among other things, the world-famous herald armorial of Guelders. Before Claes Heynenzoon served at the court of Guelders, he was a servant with Jan van Blois, lord of Schoonhoven. In 1986 Van Anrooij proved consistently that Claes Heynenzoon, herald Beyeren en herald Guelders were the same person. (NaSo 1743 - 1746): The author mentions himself in the prologue: ...zoe heb ic beyeren begonnen uten latine in corten prosen te duuts… (NaSo 1750 - 1752): Verbij-Shillings (1995) 91, suggests that herald Beyeren himself might have written the fragments-Status author (order, function):
