ABSTRACT
Vita of St. Andreas Apostolus (+ round 60). Andrew was a simple fisherman from Galilee who became a follower of John the Baptist. After John's death he became the first disciple of Christ. His brother, Simon Peter followed his example. Eventually, Andreas would be prosecuted during his later missionary work and eventually killed by nailing him to a Saint-Andrew's cross.
