ABSTRACT
Contemporary report of the death of Anselmus Adornes (?December 8th 1424/+January 23th 1483). The anonymous author narrates the assassination of Anselmus by an armed gang, in the cloister of North Berwick, Scotland, where he stayed during a pilgrimage. The report says that Anselmus acted as a mediator between the Scottish king James III and his brother Alexander, and that he was aware of dangers.
