Geslacht: M- Bio: monnik van Sint-Bertijns, 1058 of kort erna volgde hij bisschop Hereman van Wiltshire (+1078) naar Engeland en werd waarschijnlijk als monnik in het klooster van Sherborne geplaatst, verbleef tevens in andere kloosters (o.a. abdij van Canterbury), wellicht kapelaan bij de zusters van Wilton; +na 1106 (cfr. Leven van Iustus, aartsbisschop van Canterbury. De Vita sancti Laurentii, Vita et miracula sancti Melliti, Vita sancti Iusti, Vita sancti Honorii, Vita sancti Deusdedit, Vita sancti Theodori, Vita et miracula sancti Letardi en de Vita, translatio et miracula Adriani komen in de handschriften in samenhang met de teksten rond Augustinus en Mildred voor en zijn allen geschreven in verband met de translaties van de betrokkenen in 1091 in de abdij van S. Augustinus te Canterbury. Ze worden vanwege die samenhang dan ook allemaal aan Goscelinus toegeschreven.
